central location with excellent service
easy exploration hotel decor lovely restaurant early arrival
i was greeted warmly upon my early arrival. the staff stored my luggage until check-in time. the hotel's proximity to the pier allowed for easy exploration. i also enjoyed a complimentary breakfast at alouette. the hotel decor and restaurant were lovely, even beautiful.
the towels felt quite rough , which was not great.

the location was central. it provided easy access. the staff was helpful at all times. i also found the noise reduction effective for restful sleep.
the valet service was somewhat pricey.

inflexible policy rude staff
i'm pretty annoyed. the front desk seemed to have one speed, slow! i asked for a late check-out and got a flat 'no'. the staff member just shrugged, and that was that. it felt so inflexible and not very accommodating at all. i mean, COME ON. the experience left a sour taste.

comfortable pillows delicious meals sliding door
The room layout included a living room plus a bedroom separated by a sliding door. The bed had comfortable pillows. I appreciated the French bistro downstairs where the food tasted so good I found it worth the upgrade.

the staff was helpful. i have no major complaints regarding the level of assistance i received.
The breakfast was a real letdown. I booked it thinking i would be getting a buffet but there was only a short list of meals one could order from. almost every dish included fried foods and i was forced to eat granola with yogurt and berries.
